The Great Cornish Food Awards

The Great Cornish Food Awards shine a light on those who excel in ways that really matter, recognising the food, drink, farming and fishing champions of Cornwall and Scilly.

The 2025 Awards Ceremony

On 6th February 2025, we gathered at Nancarrow Farm near Truro to honour the exceptional talents and businesses that make Cornwall’s agri-food industry so special. The evening was a spectacular showcase of local excellence, hosted by Daphne Skinnard of BBC Radio Cornwall, with a keynote speech from Jill Stein OBE.

Guests enjoyed a delightful evening with welcome drinks provided by Loveday Gin and Cornish Country Cordials, a superb dinner crafted by Nancarrow, and fine wines courtesy of Knightor Winery.

Winner of Winners

The prestigious Winner of Winners Award, sponsored by Bishop Fleming, was awarded to Norton Barton Artisan Food Village. Home to Cornish Charcuterie, Popti, The Cornish Distilling Company, and Whalesborough Cheese, Norton Barton has set an inspiring example of collaboration, sustainability, and innovation in the food industry.

Richard Harding, owner of Norton Barton, commented: “The food and drink industry in Cornwall is brilliant and has so much scope for growth in the future, both nationally and internationally. Thank you to everyone who has helped us on our journey so far.”
